Johan Holmström

Johan Holmström is a Swedish composer, probably the most played in the world – because of his work with Candy Crush Soda Saga. Mr Holmström both wrote and arranged the score, recorded with London Symphony Orchestra at Abbey Road Studios. He is a resident composer and sound designer at King, the makers of Candy Crush and many other topp grossing games. After the recordings in the world famous studio in London he’s been called lot's of things – King of video game music – amongst others.

Afters studies at Musicians Institute (Los Angeles) and Berklee College of Music (Boston) Johan played with some of the biggest artists in Sweden for many years. Many of them using him for his Hammond skills. He's also been busy with various recordings and since three years, he's the bandleader/composer for the Swedish hit show for kids: "Bacillakuten" that now's been on for three seasons.
