Pieter Goossens

Belgian keyboard player Pieter Goossens was born in 1986 and, encouraged by his musical family, started taking his first classical piano lessons at age 4. 2 years later, he got permission to enter the academy 'Peter Benoit' despite his young age. Later on, he developed his own piano, organ and guitar playing skills in various styles like blues, pop, funk, mainly as autodidact.
Things started to roll in 2009, when Pieter auditioned for Belgian Idols 2007 winner Dean. He got selected out of 6 participants to join Dean's live band as keyboard player/MD for which he bought his first Hammond XK-1. 3 years later, he was asked to join the 50's/60's coverband The Corsari’s, founded by Belgian top actor/director Roel Vanderstukken & Sarah De Koster.
These days, Pieter is mostly doing session work (live, radio, television) for Benelux based artists and has worked/performed live with/for Niels Destadsbader, Free Souffriau, Sam Sparro, Laura Omloop, De Grungblavers, Raf Van Brussel, Geena Lisa, Elvis Fever band, Christoff & Friends (Roxeanne & Dré Hazes JR., Robby Longo, Belle Perez, De Romeo's, Luc Steeno, Jo Vally, Laura Lynn, ..) Laura Tesoro, jam/mobile sessions for 'K3 zoekt K3', The Voice Kids, The Voice Van Vlaanderen, ...
