Small in Size, Large in Sound !

The new Hammond M-solo drawbar keyboard is equipped with the new sound engine we call "Modelled Tone Wheel 2 (MTW2)" precisely reproducing the 91 tone wheels at the heart of all vintage Hammond organs.
This technology allows the expression of imperfections giving vintage Hammonds their distinction, such as pitch fluctuations due to tone wheel backlash and volume fluctuations due to decentering. It also covers percussion, Leslie™, vibrato and chorus, and other functions and effects which are indispensable for Hammond organs.

In spite of its small size and light-weight frame, the M-solo offers an experience that makes you feel like you're playing a real B-3. It is a compact, light-weight, easy-to-use instrument that can be used for playing Hammond organ in a band or as a second keyboard with a digital or acoustic piano.

BUILT-IN POLYPHONIC SYNTHESIZER

• The M-solo has a simple polyphonic synthesizer, consisting of two oscillators, a low-pass filter with a wave-envelope and a volume envelope, which can both be controlled.
• There are 4 types of oscillators namely Triangle, Sawtooth, Square and Pulse.
• Effects such as pitch bend, delay-vibrato and wah-wah can also be adjusted.

The Hammond M-solo is a real-time 49-note drawbar keyboard that is equipped with six instrument-types namely four organs such as the B-3, a string-ensemble and a polyphonic synthesizer.

• B-3 - Hammond Organ B-3 produced in 1955~1974
• Vx - British transistor organ of the 1960s
• Farf - Italian transistor organ of the 1960s~1970s
• Ace - Japanese transistor organ of the 1960s~1970s
• Ens - 1970s String Ensemble Keyboard
• Syn - A simple polyphonic synthesizer from the 1970s

DRAWBAR CONTROL

In the M-solo, the drawbars not only create the sound of the B-3, but also play a different role depending on the type of instrument, such as a mixer that adjusts the brightness of the tone in Vx, a filter and volume controller in Syn...
All of them are simple and intuitive to operate by simply sliding the drawbar up and down.

PATCH BUTTON

The M-solo is equipped with three patch buttons. They can be saved and recalled immediately by a simple touch. By default, three types of patches (B-3,Ens,Syn) are factory-set on the patch buttons. These are examples of typical settings that are frequently used, but you will be able to create and experience your own range of sounds.

SMALLEST AND LIGHTEST

The M-solo is the smallest and lightest model in the history of Hammond, with an excellent portability as a result.
It has been made extremely compact and measures 73,1cm in width, 27,4cm in depth and 8,5cm in height. The weight is only 3,6kg.

A special case (sold separately) is available that will hold the M-solo, power-cord, AC-adapter, etc... together.

CONNECTION TERMINALS

The M-solo is equipped with an AUX IN jack with a dedicated volume control for connecting an external sound source such as a music player. Also LINE OUT L&R, Headphone jack, Expression pedal terminal (which is indispensable for organ playing), a Leslie™ Fast-terminal (for connecting to a controller that will select the Leslie™ Fast-effect on or off) are provided.

Please note: No Leslie™-socket (11-pin or 8-pin DIN) is provided.
