Dennis DeYoung

Dennis DeYoung is a founding member of the rock group Styx. The Chicago-based band originated in 1962 when 14 year old DeYoung and brothers John and Chuck Panozzo joined Dennis in the basement of his childhood home to form one of America's most successful and enduring bands. Styx has sold over 35 million albums worldwide and DeYoung has written eight of their nine top ten singles. Styx was the only band to ever record four consecutive triple platinum albums.

For over four decades, DeYoung has been a singer, songwriter, keyboardist and record producer. He wrote and sang several classics including: Lady, Come Sail Away, Best of Times, Mr. Roboto, Show Me the Way, Desert Moon, Don't Let It End, and the 1979 Peoples Choice Award winner, Babe. His singing talents have made his voice one of the most recognizable in the world. DeYoung has recorded 7 solo albums including Desert Moon, whose title track achieved Top Ten status. DeYoung continues to tour with his rock band around the world.

In recent years DeYoung's songs have continued to enjoy remarkable popularity. His compositions have been featured in over 30 television shows including: The Simpson's, Freeks & Geeks, Dharma and Gregg, E.R., King of Queens, Sex in the City, Will and Grace, Las Vegas, Cold Case, That 70's Show, Saturday Night Live and numerous others. The piece de resistance however was when Cartman sang Come Sail Away on the groundbreaking series South Park.

DeYoung is a native of Chicago. In January of 2012 DeYoung will celebrate 42 years of marriage to his high school sweetheart Suzanne. He and Suzanne have raised two children and continue to live in the Chicago area.

Lachy Doley

Dubbed the Jimi Hendrix of the Hammond Organ, Lachy Doley is the most celebrated Blues Soul Rock Organ Player in the world today. A player who can pump, pamper and occasionally pound the most unbelievable sounds from a keyboard: sounds that are intense, ferocious and sometimes transcendent.

Recently going viral on Facebook with videos clocking up millions of views. His version of the Bill Wither's classic USE ME is now sitting at 1.6 MILLION Facebook views alone.

Lachy Doley has seen much of the world, recording and touring with acts as diverse as Powderfinger, Glenn Hughes, Steve Vai, Jimmy Barnes, The Beautiful Girls – more recently recording on a new album of Joe Bonamassa's which came out in early 2015. It was 2010 though, that saw the birth of THE LACHY DOLEY GROUP and they have been heavily recording and touring ever since.

Julia Driessen

Julia Driessen was born in Amsterdam in 1997. She grew up in a small village near Amsterdam where she met her first bandmembers. At the age of 14, Julia started to play piano in a local rock coverband: The Southern Locals. When they started to play songs of Deep Purple and Uriah Heep, Julia discovered the Hammond organ.

In this band, her nickname was Juulz, a reference to Jools Holland.

Julia's first hammond organ was a XB1. A year later, she bought the XK1 because of the waterfall keys. The improved technology of the sound and the touch of the keys helped her to develop her skills on the Hammond organ. She learned to use the percussion-technique, which is commonly used in funk music.

In 2014, Juulz went to many jamsessions in the neighborhood. There she got in touch with a lot of musicians, from whom she learned very much. She was asked to play with the band Blues Dog. They played on several stages with a good reputation, such as the North Sea Jazz Club in Amsterdam and the Vorstin in Hilversum. They also joined the Dutch Blues Challenge. She played the keys in Blues Dog from October 2014 until May 2016.

In 2015 Julia also established a band with friends, Meet the Funkers. As the name says, they played mainly funk. With this band, Julia had a lot of fun. They did approximately 15 shows a year. They also recorded a few demo's, including an own song, at Julia's home studio, which sounded great.

When Julia was playing in Blues Dog and Meet the Funkers, she began to miss the Rock. In may 2016 she saw and advertisement of a rock band, Uncle Jimmy. This band was looking for a Hammond player. Julia didn't hesitate and decided to join the auditions, not much later she became a part of the band. Now, then they have a show almost every week. Not only in the Netherlands but also many gigs in Germany.

Since the endorsement with Hammond in october 2016, Julia plays on a Hammond XK-3c with the lower keyboard (XLK-3) and the wooden stand. This organ sounds amazing. And because of the tube in the XK-3c, it is perfect for Rock. The Hammond also looks fantastic, and that's important because in Uncle Jimmy, the Hammond is a big part of the show.

Besides making music, Julia is studying Medicine at the University of Amsterdam.

Billy Earheart

Southern feel, soul, rhythm and blues, country, rock & roll, greasy honky tonks; these things come to mind when thinking about Grammy and Emmy award winning keyboardist, Billy Earheart. He grew up in Tullahoma, Tennessee (an hour south of Nashville), and from there went to Muscle Shoals, Knoxville, Memphis, Nashville and currently in North Mississippi, playing with an impressive list of artists along the way.

Billy is also an original member and still tours with the Amazing Rhythm Aces,and also has played with Hank Williams Jr & the Bama Band (21 years), Al Green, B.B. King, Memphis Slim, Waylon Jennings, Eddie Hinton, Kid Rock, Dickie Betts, Ace Cannon, Gatemouth Brown, Willie Cobbs, Kris Kristofferson, Sammy Hagar, Jimmy Buffet, Glen Frey, Rufus Thomas, Leslie West, Bobby Rush, Don Nix, Mark Muleman Massey and many more.. and also, Billy has played on over 250 different albums..

Musical Highpoints and Awards
Billy won several awards with the Amazing Rhythm Aces. The group was nominated for a Grammy for "Best New Artist" in 1975. They won the Grammy for Country Group in 1976 for their recording of "The End Is Not In Sight". That same year, they won the Cash Box Award for "Best Progressive Group". Other honors with the Aces include several ASCAP awards, as well as receiving the "Key to the City of Memphis" in 1976. The Aces also won a gold record for "Goin South", a double CD compilation of Southern music.

One of Billy's special honors was the proclamation by Shelby County Mayor William Morris of June 28, 1985 as "Billy Earheart Day" in Memphis, Tennessee!

The awards continued with Billy's association with Bocephus. The CMA presented Hank Williams, Jr. and The Bama Band with two video awards: for "My Name is Bocephus" in 1986, and for "Young Country" in 1987. 1989 brought an Emmy for the Rowdy Friends Theme from "Monday Night Football". And in 1989, the documentary and live video featuring Hank Jr. and the band, "Full Access" was certified platinum. Billy also played on the gold records Hank Live, Wild Streak, Greatest hits 3 and America the way I see it. The Bama Band also won the "Lifetime Achievement" award from the Ohio Country Music Association. Billy is a lifetime member of the Country Music Association and the Hank Williams Appreciation Society.

Billy E. has also had the honor of playing for four different presidents: Carter, Clinton, Bush Sr. & George W..

Currently he's playing either a Hammond B3 or XK-3c.

Ryan Monroe

That all of it fits together and none of it sounds anything like Band of Horses makes this all the more impressive."

Guy Fletcher

In 1960, the year I was born in Maidstone, Kent, music was already a way of life in our household. My Mum, Dad and Uncle had their own group ‘The Cameos'. Apparently, as soon as I could walk I was taking an interest. By the age of 4, I was singing songs and being recorded in the Fletcher garage studio. The sight of that reel to reel tape machine whirring away in the garage is one of my first memories.

I first met Mark Knopfler in 1983, when I turned up at his house with a DX7 under my arm. My roots were certainly not based in the blues of the Northern Maestro, but oddly enough, I didn't seem to have much trouble making the transition. Blues and country may have been a little out of my remit, but I've always felt at home with the material. It was during the making of the Notting Hillbillies album that I really started to realize the many musical connections'. Since 1983 I've been involved in all Mark's work both in Dire Straits, the solo albums 'Golden Heart', 'Sailing to Philadelphia', 'Ragpicker's dream', 'Shangri-La', 'Kill to get Crimson', 'Get Lucky' and all the film projects.

I have of course collaborated with many others such as Tina Turner, Mick Jagger, Aztec Camera, Difford and Tillbrook (STP appearances). Notably, though my connection with Mark, I was fortunate enough to work with and get to know the wonderful Chet Atkins. The late Willie De Ville and Randy Newman were also notable landmarks.

A lot of what I enjoy doing now, especially since the completion of A-Bay Studios…is to compose for film and television. I've spent the last couple of years working on projects of my own, often with my good friend and partner Rupert Gregson Williams. A few years ago we worked together on the ITV series ‘At home with the Braithwaites' (four series) and more recently ‘William and Mary'. Then it was the movies..My first full-blown feature film soundtrack was ‘Tooth' complete with fully orchestral 72 minute score. That was quite a challenge but I went on to do three more features, 'Sergeant Pepper', 'Spirit Trap' and 'Niagara Motel'.

Bob Malone

Born Sanders

Born is known in circles as one of the fastest piano players in town, which may or may not be attributed to his impressive ability to drink copious amounts of Italian coffee. He's an incredibly diverse musician, able to perform naturally on a wide array of instruments in various musical genres like pop, rock, blues, jazz and funk. Born started playing the piano at the age of 5. By listening and copying songs he heard on the radio and playing them on the piano he began to develop his first musical skills. At the age of 11 he started taking piano lessons at a private music school.

At the age of 24 Born completed his Bachelor studies Piano Improvised Music (cum laude) at the conservatory of Utrecht (NL) in 2004. This is also the time Born got his first Hammond, the XK-2. His teachers at the conservatory were Bert van den Brink and Cor Bakker. Born also followed master classes form respected musician like Louis van Dijk, Thijs van Leer, Brad Mehldau and Benjamin Herman. From early on Born was founder of many pop and jazz groups like the Dutch band Van Binnen, jazz trio Born and showband BORN XL with whom he accompanies both national as well as international artists like Shirma Rouse (The Voice Of Holland), Meike van der Veer (The Voice Of Holland), Pearl Jozefzoon (musical Dreamgirls & The Voice Of Holland) and other respected artists.

Born is constantly writing and recording new original pieces with his jazz trio BORN. His compositions are surprisingly direct and catchy from grooving to melancholy. Jazz music with a pop sound. Born's trio has already been touring in Poland (2011), France (2012), England (2013), Malaysia (2013). With his other band: Amsterdam Saints, he presented their second album "Moving On" in February 2015. The band earlier toured in Mexico and is already working on a third album.

As a composer Born is active for both radio and television. His compositions are often used in TV and radio commercials. These days Born can mainly be found on stage performing with various artists and bands like Romi Cage, Amsterdam Saints, BORN XL, Jazz trio BORN, singer-songwriter: Channah, and other freelance artists.

Lou Pardini

Lou is an American Grammy-nominated keyboardist, songwriter, and vocalist. He has worked with notable musicians such as Stevie Wonder and Santana, and, as of August 2009, has replaced Bill Champlin in Chicago. He has also written songs for artists such as Smokey Robinson and The Temptations. Call On Me [Live 2011] shows off Lou's powerful style - a perfect match for the band.

Sven Figee

In 1995 Figee started studying jazz-piano at the Rotterdam Conservatory. He played with various local (The Hague) funk & rock bands. His first major recording experience is with Dutch rock-band Topaz. In '96 their album 'The Door' was released. Figee was responsible for all (Hammond) organ and synthesizer cuts.

With Marcel de Groot he tours the Dutch theaters. Figee is for two years part of the group that releases a live album, 'Tour', in '98. This group also accompanies renowned Dutch artists like Boudewijn de Groot and George Kooijmans (Golden Earring).

From 1998 to 2000 Figee hits the road with the successful Dutch rock singer Anouk. As part of her band Figee tours Europe and America and plays many festivals and clubs. In '99 he contributes to her second, double platinum selling studio album 'Urban Solitude'.

In 2000 Figee tours with American rock singer Keith Caputo (Life Of Agony). They play at the Roskilde festival (Danmark) and the famous German TV-show Rock Palast.

In 2006 Figee, starts his own group 'Sven Hammond Soul'. A Hammond driven combo with drummer Joost Kroon, bass player Glenn Gaddum and guitarist Tim Eijmaal. They start touring Dutch clubs and (jazz) festivals straight away and release a live album called 'Live at the Zwarte Ruiter'.

Figee produced the second studio album, 'Trust' of the singer Rose and starts building his recording studio with friend and guitar player Roland Dirkse. 'Marmalade Music' opens early 2008 in Delft and has produced many hit albums and singles since then.

Figee's band 'Sven Hammond Soul' has released three studio albums since then, two of which are recorded and mixed at Marmalade Music: 'The Marmalade Sessions' (2009) has achieved 'classic album' status in Dutch iTunes (jazz) and has received an Edison Award nomination. Their second album, 'The Apple Field' (2011) also received an Edison Award nomination in the category 'Pop'. The group played the famous 'North Sea Jazz festival' (2010 & 2012) and many other clubs, TV- and radio shows and festivals. In 2014 they released their third studio album 'The Usual Suspects'. Recorded and produced by the highly acclaimed British producer Tony Platt (Bob Marley, AC/DC, Motorhead). Their club tour early 2014 was completely sold out and they are a popular live act at many outdoor festivals this summer.

Rob Antecki

Currently based in Grand Rapids, MI, composer, songwriter, and keyboardist Rob Antecki has founded and written for several regional bands including Silversmith. Since shifting his focus to songwriting, he and writing partner Christopher Andrus scored their first contract in Nashville in the summer of 2012. With a background in classical and instrumental music, he is currently moving to film and soundtrack writing work, with more details coming in 2013. Rob continues to perform with numerous artists in the West Michigan area.

Michael Nass

Berlin based Michael Nass is a musician ,composer and record producer since he started his carrier in the eighties.

Born in 1966 ,he tried the first piano lessons in the early seventies.

After ten years in classical piano playing ,he entered the stage with his first popband called "P16" – one of the youngest wellknown teenband ever the eighties in what was then east germany.

Later on ,he had many collaborations with several artist and bands in germany both live on stage and in the studio. Retrospectively he is involved in more than 80 CD and DVD releases and many filmscores for german TV-movies.

Since 1999 Michael became a member of renowned german rockband BAP (Niedeckens BAP).

This famous rockband ,founded by singer and songwriter Wolfgang Niedecken, relased 23 albums and many DVD´s in 38 years.

Almost all of the releases hit the top 3 of german albumcharts during the years.

The newest BAP live album "Das Märchen vom gezogenen Stecker" (which literally translates as ‘the fairytale of unplugged') entered the german albumchart at #1 in september 2014!

BAP performed 7 times at the legendary german TV-Show "Rockpalast " and plays many festivals every year. In 2002 ,the international acclaimed filmmaker Wim Wenders made a rock´n roll movie about the band "Viel Passiert".

Furthermore Michael Nass works also as a mixing engineer and supervisor for film scores in german TVmovies along with several composers.

Beside playing with BAP story he is also on tour with KKnZ + Inga Rumpf ,the grand lady of funk and soul in germany.

She started her carrier in the seventies with bands like Atlantis and Frumpy and was also songwriter for Tina Turner in the eighties.

Another project is "Die Seilschaft" a band ,founded by Singer and Songwriter Gerhard Gundermann.

Pieter Goossens

Belgian keyboard player Pieter Goossens was born in 1986 and, encouraged by his musical family, started taking his first classical piano lessons at age 4. 2 years later, he got permission to enter the academy 'Peter Benoit' despite his young age. Later on, he developed his own piano, organ and guitar playing skills in various styles like blues, pop, funk, mainly as autodidact.

Things started to roll in 2009, when Pieter auditioned for Belgian Idols 2007 winner Dean. He got selected out of 6 participants to join Dean's live band as keyboard player/MD for which he bought his first Hammond XK-1. 3 years later, he was asked to join the 50's/60's coverband The Corsari's, founded by Belgian top actor/director Roel Vanderstukken & Sarah De Koster.

These days, Pieter is mostly doing session work (live, radio, television) for Benelux based artists and has worked/performed live with/for Niels Destadsbader, Free Souffriau, Sam Sparro, Laura Omloop, De Grungblavers, Raf Van Brussel, Geena Lisa, Elvis Fever band, Christoff & Friends (Roxeanne & Dré Hazes JR., Robby Longo, Belle Perez, De Romeo's, Luc Steeno, Jo Vally, Laura Lynn, ..) Laura Tesoro, jam/mobile sessions for 'K3 zoekt K3', The Voice Kids, The Voice Van Vlaanderen, ...
